What are the differences between guided hikes and workshops?

 

Guided hikes are just that. Hikes to area’s otherwise dangerous or under special conditions where I do all the prep work for you. You get to venture out in good company ask questions but the primary service - is that the weather, conditions, terrain are all pre scouting for you to guarantee success. it is instructional light.

What Gear is Recommended vs Required

 

The following is required gear:

  • any camera body

  • lens at 10-24 MM’s f4 or faster (f1.4 - F3.5)

  • tripod

  • head lamp

  • good weather clothes

recommended:

  • hand warmers

  • shutter release

  • extra batteries/ plates/

  • a FAST lens 2.8 or better - for best results (14 mm F2.8 are available for rent at 75$ each - limited quantities)

I don’t use Adobe Lightroom what use is the post processing course to me?

 

Adobe Lightroom, provides a generic raw editor but it is the most common and reasonably priced at a small subscription fee. however all techniques in the beginners course will match other such one time buy courses - such as Luminar, One 1, Affinity Photo, Etc
