Feature: The Dune De Bouctouche

Pastel Sunrise - Sunrise from the Dune.

The Beautiful Dune of Bouctouche, has always captured my heart.

I walked its sands countless days as a young couple with my wife Stephanie and eventually my children. It has access to beautiful sunrises, sunsets, wildlife and the ocean. As a Newfoundlander, it is the first place I walked on a beach without shoes on. and let the sand between ‘me toes!’ It is the first place my daughter Violet walked on the sand as well!

With Valentines day lurking, my thoughts of course return to those late night and early mornings I’ve spent there over the years.

It is a place I crave to, to ground myself, and revisit those old memories. It’s become a muse of mine.

This place is magical, I can go here countless times and see nothing the same, and never what I expect. It is a place I suggest everyone explore. So as we say, “Take a gander” of what I’ve collected below and enjoy it as I have.
